James Kojian, M.D. - Owner

Meet the Owner of The Rejuvenation Center James Kojian, M.D.  Dr. Kojian is not only a Board Certified Physician and Surgeon but is also a certified Anti-Aging and Longevity Physician who offers amazing results using F.D.A approved treatments. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Kojian has extensive aesthetic training in the use of BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, Collagen and Mesotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Kojian has extensive training in the use of lasers and skin resurfacing modalities to create beautiful smooth skin. He is certified as a physician who specializes in BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, and laser treatments and has been performing these procedures for many years.

Richard Alan Skoff, DMD - Co-Owner/Executive Director

Richard Skoff, DMD provides management consultant services for medical spas, surgery centers, physician and dental offices.  Areas of expertise include startup operations, business development, general management, finance, recruitment and training.

Earlier in his career, Richard served four years of active military duty as a Commissioned Naval Officer.  During that time, he completed a one year General Practice Residency and was assigned to the 3rd Marine Division during Operation Desert Storm.  Richard received multiple awards and Letters of Commendation and was selected for early promotion. 

Richard received a combined BS, DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Richard is a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Professionals.

Cecilia Gutierrez, RN, BSN, PHN - Medical Spa Director

Cecilia Gutierrez, RN, BSN is The Rejuvenation Center’s Aesthetic Spa Nursing Director and Certified Medical Aesthetic Practitioner.  Cecilia is a Southern California native from Palos Verdes Estates, California. Cecilia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing as well as a Certification in Public Health Nursing. She is a Certified Operating Room Nurse with 15 years of experience specializing in Trauma, ENT, Orthopedics, Neurology, Oro-Maxillo Facial, Vascular, Plastics, Burns, and General Surgery at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center as a surgical nurse.  As a certified scrub nurse she also specialized in "scrubbing in" by assisting various well-known surgeons from the Trauma setting to the Cosmetic Surgery setting. Cecilia is a member of the AORN (Association of Operating Room Nurses) and spent 11 years in the Cosmetic Surgery Field both in Orange County and in Beverly Hills.

Cecilia assisted various surgical centers in receiving Accreditation as well as staffing and training of new nurses. Currently, Cecilia is one of the Surgical Nurses at Summit Surgery Center in Beverly Hills (Home of the medical reality series “Dr. 90210”) and is the primary surgical nurse for Dr. Harrison Lee (Triple Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon).

Cecilia has been a Certified Medical Aesthetic Practitioner for 11 years, is a member of AMEN (Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses) and is a Certified Advanced Injectable Practitioner specializing in BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dermal Fillers such as Juvederm® Ulta/Ultra Plus and Radiesse®. She specializes in Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Laser Vein Removal, TITAN Skin Tightening, IPL/Photofacial, Velashape II Body Contouring, Laser GENESIS Rejuvenation and Medical Grade Chemical Peels.  Cecilia is currently known for her conservative approach with cosmetic treatments and has an extensive following with both Hollywood celebrities in the entertainment industry to professional celebrity athletes. Initial Cosmetic Surgery Consultations as well as Consultations for Aesthetic Procedures may be made with Cecilia through The Rejuvenation Center.

Cecilia's hobbies include playing Classical Piano since the age of 5, playing with her dogs Dolce and Coco, Circuit Training at Circuit Works LA in Brentwood, Muay Thai Kickboxing at ELITE Mixed Martial Arts School, Professional Polynesian Dancing, attending Pure Barre Classes and spending valuable time with her 19 year old son, Gerod.

Maheshni Karunasena, PA-C - Physician Assistant

Maheshni Karunasena, PA-C has been practicing medicine for fourteen years as a Physician Assistant specializing in Aesthetic Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Maheshni is a South Bay Native from Palos Verdes Estates, California and has experience working as a Physician Assistant in the Medical Spa setting for the Los Angeles County area.

Maheshni has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Irvine and her post graduate Physician Assistant studies from the University of Southern California College of Medicine. Her training in Emergency Medicine includes advanced surgical procedures, trauma cases, as well as teaching medical students. To Aesthetic Medicine she brings expertise in injectables, numerous laser procedures, training staff, as well as patient education.

Maheshni is nationally certificated in both Surgery and Medicine since 1994.
